L-H Battery Company, the joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Honda (LGES-Honda), set out to build an EV battery plant in Jeffersonville, Ohio. The partnership included a commitment of $3.5 billion for the new battery plant and an additional $700 million commitment from Honda for the retooling of three existing Honda facilities for EV production.

L-H Battery associates and construction partners continue to collaborate on the construction site each day, which is contributing to the progress made to date keeping the project on course to start EV battery production in 2025.
