OPmobility Exterior USA, LLC expects to create 541 full-time-equivalent positions, generating $40 million in new annual payroll. The new plant will have advanced injection molding technology.
OPmobility develops and manufactures plastic automotive exterior which include grills, bumpers, wheel flares, and tailgates—and serves customers including General Motors, Stellantis, and Ford. The operation, will include advanced injection molding equipment, a high-efficiency double-sided paint line, automation and digital manufacturing technologies.
The Levallois-Perret, France-based company said the facility will begin production in the second half of 2027 and manufacture exterior automotive components, including bumpers, grilles and tailgates.
OPMobility, formerly known as Plastic Omnium, is one of the world’s largest automotive plastics suppliers. The company manufactures exterior systems, lighting products, fuel systems, battery packs and hydrogen technologies and reported sales of $13.1 billion in 2025.
