Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc is a London-based pharmaceuticals company expects to create 300 full-time-equivalent jobs at its Bedford facility by expanding production of injectable medications in Northeast Ohio as part of a companywide strategy to increase domestic manufacturing capacity.  The expansion is expected to generate $25.5 million in new annual payroll and be completed by Dec. 31, 2030.

Hikma acquired Bedford Laboratories in 2014 from Ben Venue Laboratories, Inc., for $300 million.

They will also add a new packing line to Hikma Pharmaceuticals’ Columbus facility. That project is expected to be completed at the end of 2029 and bring an additional 50 full-time-equivalent jobs with $3 million in new annual payroll.
