Foxconn will manufacture data center-related equipment for the Stargate project at the former Ohio General Motors factory it sold to SoftBank.

Foxconn and SoftBank companies will establish a joint venture, with Foxconn continuing to operate the site, and SoftBank providing the necessary manufacturing equipment.

The site will be the first manufacturing site established under the $500 billion Stargate data center project, which SoftBank is currently undertaking with OpenAI, Oracle, and Abu Dhabi’s MGX.
