Findlay

Goodyear Tire plans to close its tire mold facility in Findlay, this spring, resulting in the layoff of 85 people.  Goodyear is consolidating its two U.S. tire mold facilities into a single location in Statesville, North Carolina.  The Findlay facility was part of the Cooper Tire acquisition on June 7, 2021.

Goodyear employs about 63,000 people worldwide. It makes its products in 49 facilities in 19 countries.
