Perrysburg

The facility will manufacture washer and dryer components, generating up to 150 jobs. This factory will be Whirlpool’s 11th U.S. facility and its sixth in Ohio. Whirlpool is headquartered in Benton Harbor, Michigan.

Whirlpool stated that the project depends on securing final approval for incentives and support from the state of Ohio. Once these conditions are met, Whirlpool will take over a facility that was previously used for solar panel manufacturing and automate it for their production, this is estimated to take 2 years.

The Whirlpool plants in NW Ohio are Clyde, Marion, Findlay, Ottawa, and Greenville.
